Gail Johnson has traveled in the oil media beginning with a realism style and evolving into impressionist realism.  This nomadic beginning has allowed her to develop painting styles using brush and palette knife.  Living in a country setting in New Hampshire has  lent itself to natural settings and countryside paintings.  The artist enjoys challenges and thus a varied portfolio.
